Over a year of testing and discussing what the ideal bowl should do and have as features resulted in the first new Redline in over 8 years.The SR with its all new grip,which is a real grip for the bowlers that do want to really be able to grip a bowl.
The trajectory is very different to a current Redline.The SR is very much more a banana shape and as such exceptionally accurate draw and upshots can be played. As the SR is turning from the first few metres it is certainly less wind affected than most bowls. The flatter profile was designed for unparrelled accuracy with the minimum of weight for the up shot.
The SR has been tested on 20 second greens grass and artificial as well as 12 second and everything in between.It works perfectly in all conditions on both grass and artificial.
Tried by Sharon Sims,Richard Girvan,Kelvin Kerkow,Dave Ferguson,Shane Globits and the worlds most famous player Willie Wood of Scotland......the verdict was the same.......a superb bowl.
