| No other Narrow Bias Bowl comes close | For the right conditions and those that prefer narrow bias bowls no other make of bowl comes close to the XTL.Richard Girvan won the Helensvale Grand Prix,Pairs and Singles using a set. Draw and drive is a thing of the past with Taylor Bowls and especially the Redline SR and XTL.Any shot in the book can now be played with these very advanced bowls.Reports from bowlers suggest that the XTL is the best of all narrow bias bowls when the wind comes up.Personal experience has demonstrated that the XTL does in fact turn into the wind(not gale) on quick greens, unlike some other makes of narrow bias bowls. |
| Go under, around or past anything on the green |
| The XTL is our tightest bowl, yet it is capable, just as the Redline is, to go under, around or past anything on the green. Weight control is the key to success when using this bowl. On the upshot one can now play with weight and accuracy that was quite simply not possible with wide drawing or hooking bowls. The bowl holds…..and holds……and holds. The XTL has been designed with a trajectory that allows the bowl to turn towards the target over the last few metres. It does not have a flat straight finish which makes our competitors bowls so susceptible in the wind. |
We stress the XTL is PARTICULARLY STABLE IN THE WIND for a narrow bias bowl.Designed for green speeds over 13 seconds the XTL can be used on every green surface both indoors and outdoors. The XTL requires practice and skilled weight control to get the best results.
